Sourcethis vibe is so good. the vocal delay on those single words is a decision that brings me so much joy, and the last chorus is so satisfying, with the little "stay the night" weaved in there. so confident.

Fantastic, enjoyable song. I do get the impression that you are trying to find creative ways to incorporate the challenge that doesn't make it obvious that you are doing the challenge at all. Reading the lyrics made it a bit more obvious that you absolutely rose to the challenge. Vocals are perfection, naturally. Excellent mix, instrument choices, and dynamics. Smart choice to drop everything down to the acoustic guitar before that final chorus. Yeah, this is really good. Nicely done!

another beautiful melody and (mostly) well-performed song, but like your Round 0 song, the take on the challenge really feels like the barest minimum to me, and I love it when people grab it with both hands. Oh, and the "mostly" was because there are a few bits where the bass really felt like it needed another take - a few bits of clunky timing that probably wouldn't have registered if the rest of the song wasn't put together so impeccably.
Lovely and maudlin. Besting all others on the Berkeley scene by far. Just beautiful. I wanted you to overlay the "instructions" on top of the final chorus.
wow wow wow, this put me in a MOOD. One of my favorites for sure. Peaceful, groovy, and delightful
This is just so cool and lovely, fantastic vocals, and the slide guitar really makes it. The lyrics didn’t stand out to me one way or another, but I think they were well done and worked nicely for the mood of the song, and I did like the lines at the start of verse 2 in particular. I don’t really have that much to say about this, but it’s excellent.
Ugh, this is another song I love! I was singing this chorus all day yesterday. I like the take on the challenge/title that there is no handbook, but I almost hate that the bridge then has the steps that the challenge asks for; I kinda want you to just throw out the entire challenge and be bold, but that might have dire consequences for the whole thing 🙂 Only other note I have is that some of those S songs are a little too S-y, but it's a minor thing for me. Great work!
this song is exceedingly pleasant to listen to. The line in the e guitar at the start is lovely. The bass throughout is like a heartbeat and holds together the piece very well. This song is meditatively morose, and definitely paints an entire mood. Unfortunately, I find this song rather forgettable. Your voice is lovely, but you stay at the same dynamic/energy level the whole, which despite the changes in the instrumentation, makes the whole song feel rather one note. I will say I like the high note at the end- do more of that! It’s a great color change. If you hadn’t labeled them in the lyrics, I never would have found the instructions. Those lines are pretty standard love song lines, and not very instructional. Production is great- your use of vocals echos is one element that stood out to me.
