Regime Change
by Berkeley Social Scene
feat. Brett Boulder on keys, and David Douglas and Jessie Eschman on vocals

Martin:
It’s mine
It’s my time to shine
I rule the world from atop my shrine
My name in lights
My legacy guaranteed
My family all around me

David:
The people have a voice
We have a choice
A duty to rise up
To fight fascism
We’ll kick you out
Send you back to your tower
This regime change
Is now or never

Martin:
It’s mine
Get in line
I’ll keep down till you resign
My signature a proclamation
My desires your destination
My pockets filling up with gold

Jessie:
The people have a voice
We have a choice
A duty to rise up
To fight fascism
We’ll kick you out
Send you back to your tower
This regime change
Is now or never

Jessie:
Behind the scenes we scheme
A nightmare to suit our needs
We pretend to be mainstream
Change the facts to suit our needs

Martin:
It’s mine
They gave me a sign
This house suits me just fine
My voice is my power
I tweet on the hour
My insanity overflows

David and Jessie:
The people have a voice
We have a choice
A duty to rise up
To fight fascism
We’ll kick you out
Send you back to your tower
This regime change
Is now or never

Really like the music direction. Kind of weak take on the title with weak lyrics, I think, if I understand correctly. Jessie has a pretty voice but she doesn't sound interested in rioting - she must not be from Berkeley?

All your vocalist did a fine job, I was very impressed. I think it was a great idea to have 1 vocalist play Trump with the others being the voice of (some of) the people. The lyrics flowed well, and I only have 1 minor complaint for the entire song…stop beating around the bush & end the song when it needs ended. Excellent in every other way though.
