You see, this is why we shouldn't have immunity at all, as it means a song as good as this kind of falls by the wayside. I love the Laurie Anderson-esque Spoken Word verses and the chorus is fantastic. Best song (not) in the fight and would have voted accordingly if I could.

(Not going to review the shadow entries as is the judge's perogative but I almost did as I liked Dento I-Veg's song a fair bit, and decided not to as I didn't like Lichenthroat's that much and I take no pleasure from endlessly ragging on people.)

Based on johnny's comment earlier I'm curious to know if you'd have submitted this if you didn't have immunity since it's markedly more discordant than your usual ouvre. But those atonal guitars are really cool, and this is one occasion where the spoken bits really work adding a creepy atmosphere without sounding goofy or weird. It's a tune that doesn't seem to care who's listening and benefits from that added swagger.

What a good use of immunity- I love how experimental this is, no holds barred. The chorus is beautiful, and I love it up against the twilight zone style verses.

This didn't hit my sweet spot as well as some of the other judges', but I really appreciate what you were going for here. I especially love the line "Is it useful to be pretty?" Your lyrics often have a trenchant specificity, and your vocals never let your lyrics down.
