I also dig this a LOT. Honestly to me these two are a tie in terms of quality and would I listen to them outside of the contest (hint: I would!). First of all, it’s using the title up front and frequently, instead of burying it in a throwaway line like last time. The guest guitar by Mo is great, lilting and flowing around the main electro-instrumentation like a river. My only beef with this one is friends (even imaginary ones!) are still people. That’s literally my only issue. Otherwise stellar.

Gorgeous vox, the mix on this is smoooth. and the synths are sumptuous, you know, like you could lie down in them, tastefully and artfully applied guitars!
